There has been so much focus on the face mask, it has almost become the protagonist. In art and culture, masks have always been symbolic. Other than shielding us from danger, they can reveal or hide different aspects of ourselves. Let’s think about how to constructively use the idea of the “mask” to make a creative and positive statement! This activity is intended to also connect and unite our friends, neighbors, and fellow art lovers, far and near during Pandemic in 2020. Art is a powerful tool to galvanize people, across borders, countries, and different languages! It can be a way to celebrate our uniqueness and also find common ground.
