Fabric Workshop With Carrie Burckle
Fiber Printing Class Leaves Students Excited For More!
On Sunday 10/8/17, Prof. Carrie Burckle from California State University, Long Beach led a workshop on fabric printing here at CM3 Art. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to have a direct interaction with a professional artist and educator. She shared her wealth of knowledge, introducing the history of fabric printing and dying, explained the process and ways to design and have fun! The students were able to experiment with the process themselves, experiencing a new process to create. By the end of the workshop, students didn’t want to stop!
Special thanks to Prof. Carrie Burckle, for sharing her time and rich knowledge of fiber art and printing, and for opening our students’ imaginations!
Special thanks to our wonderful and supportive parent volunteers, lending us their time and support for the arts.
