CM3 will be displaying a new exhibition of paper cut art from our exciting summer program. Paper cutting is an old art, one that has existed as early as the 4th century. Since then, paper cutting has appeared throughout time and in many different cultures and countries. Our program focused on the role and history of paper cutting from the earliest form found in Chinese traditions and up to modern and contemporary artists and examples, bringing inspiration from the past and present. Altogether, this created a unique experience for our students in designing and creating one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the traditional and the contemporary.
